I moved to Switzerland to study music, and I subsequently started working in the video industry, collaborating with local video organizations and also owning my own company.
After several years of experience in classical music videos as a producer or as an owner/operator and multicam operator, I developed an interest in camera stabilization systems, and soon fell in love with the art of Steadicam.
I participated in the Gold Tiffen workshop in Gran Canaria, and the experience made me even more passionated about it. Garrett Brown told me how he enjoys playing some of my same favourite cello pieces, discussing the physical and mental similarities in playing such an instrument and operating a Steadicam: the finesse of movements, the coordination, and the potential for creativity and artistic choices that both disciplines allow.
Finally I was able to buy my own rig and embark on this journey, that is not only a challenge that requires constant training and refining of skills, but also offers a unique chance to see and show the world through the eyes and movements of a natural perspective that relates to space like nothing else.
